Lisa & Darren's Wedding DJ at Redhouse Barn
Performing as a Professional Wedding DJ at Redhouse Barns in Stoke Prior is always great fun. It's a stunning venue in its own right, finding that perfect balance between rustic and contemporary and when the sun starts to go down, the in-house sound system and lighting comes to life in the timber barns. This makes life very simple because all you’ll need to do is add one Professional (and subjectively handsome) DJ! That is exactly what Lisa and Darren did, and what a cracking night it was!
I met Lisa and Darren at the barns about six weeks before their big day for their pre-wedding consultation and within two minutes of speaking to them, I just knew that it was going to be a club night. With a blend of Speed Garage, Dance, R’n’B, Drum & Bass, a little bit of reggae with the odd 80s track, there was certainly enough for me to work my magic. A great night was had by all, and we even had time to throw in a boys vs. girls dance off. Who won that one? Of course it was the girls! Although the boys did give it a good go.
Doing the job that I do, I often find myself working with other quality suppliers, and Darren Gair certainly falls under that category. Darren is highly respected in his field and I was delighted to see him as Lisa & Darren’s Professional Wedding Photographer. I’ve been a big fan of Darren’s photography since the first time I met him a few years ago, and his work actually features quite a lot throughout this website. He’s amazing at what he does, and I can’t thank him enough for allowing me to use some of his snaps for this blog.
Like all photographers, Darren sees poor, tacky mobile discos that ruin people’s wedding celebrations on a regular basis. Whether I am plugged into the in-house system of Redhouse Barn, or I am performing at an event where I will be bringing my own professionally computer controlled lighting with nightclub grade sound system, I pride myself on giving my clients and all their guests an amazing night that is considerably more polished and more professional than what some operators provide. It sounds cheesy, but the philosophy that I always work to is very simple: perfect days deserve incredible nights!
