Sarah & Jamie's Wedding DJ at Barns & Yard

As you can probably guess, I’ve seen a lot now that I’ve been professional DJ for more than 20 years. For example, I’ve had the pleasure of performing with and for a lot of celebrities. Whether it’s complementing a performance for a headline DJ at a festival, or rocking the dance floor at an awards ceremony afterparty, I’ve rubbed shoulders with a lot of people who were no doubt wondering “Who the hell is this guy?” I’ve even DJ’d at some events that I cannot tell you about because a piece of paper that I signed prevents me from doing so! Usually, I know in advanced that a celebrity will be in attendance. However, this was not the case when I was Sarah & Jamie’s Wedding DJ at Barns & Yard at Hanley Hall.

Like all couples, Sarah & Jamie wanted to ensure that a wide range in music was played on the night of their wedding so that everyone would hear something that they would enjoy. That’s exactly what we did, doffing the proverbial cap to Reggae, Dance, RnB, Pop Punk, Emo and even a bit of Chesney Hawkes.

But what I ended up finding out on the night was that Jamie’s cousin was none other than Gareth Gates. Just before the first dance kicked off, Gareth treated us all at Barns & Yard to a wonderful rendition of Ed Sheeran’s Perfect. After that, it was time for Sarah & Jamie to take centre stage for their first dance.

Needless to say, Sarah & Jamie can proudly say that they had something a little bit different on their big day.
