Lisa & Jim's Wedding DJ at Moxhull Hall

The marquee at Moxhull Hall is a fantastic place to have a damn good party. With the interior styled like a high-end lounge, there are plenty of spaces to catch up with friends and family while your rest your aching feet from all the dancing that you’ve been doing underneath the star-cloth ceiling. I was back at Moxhull Hall to DJ for Lisa & Jim’s wedding party, and it was a hell of a lot of fun!

The evening festivities kicked off with Lisa and Jim strutting into Moxhull Hall's marquee, with their choice of walk in music being 'Numb/Encore'. With the grand entrance complete and the cake suitably cut, we went straight into Lisa & Jim’s first dance: ‘Got to Have Your Love’ by Mantronix.

That choice of song should give you a good idea of the kind of night we were about to embark on, and that tone was set in stone even more by the newlywed’s request for the next song: Joey Negro's remix of ‘Teardrops’ by Womack & Womack.

During their consultation, I could tell how much fun these two are - so chilled, but up for a good time, and they certainly showed that on the night. Lisa wanted to make sure that ‘Love Story’ by Layo & Bushwacka! made it onto the playlist, as well as ‘It Just Won't Do' by Tim Deluxe. Complement those bangers with tunes by Shapeshifters, Junior Jack, Bob Sinclar, Roger Sanchez, and Danzel, Lisa & Jim’s wedding was reminiscent of going out into Birmingham during the noughties!

I had a lot of fun banging out the tunes at this Moxhull Hall wedding. So much so, I lost track of time and almost went past the midnight curfew – I finished just in the nick of time though, thus avoiding becoming a very naughty DJ!
