Nestled in its own secret valley somewhere in the Cotswold Hills is an absolute beaut of a wedding venue. With Cotswold stone walls, exposed beams and plenty of room to dance the night away like it’s your last night on earth, The Kingscote Barn is a great place to celebrate your big day. Jas & Jack got married earlier this year, and it was an absolute pleasure to be their wedding DJ at The Kingscote Barn in Stroud.
Wanna read a useless fact? Jas & Jack got married on my birthday! That’s right – I celebrated my witnessing the Earth circle the Sun 37 times with a good bunch of people who know how to have a damn good time!
So what was the main theme of the night? House music, baby! Jas & Jack didn’t want to stray too far away from the well-known tunes so as not to alienate their guests, and artists such as Joel Corry, Avicii & Martin Garrix were mentioned during our chat in the weeks leading up to their big day. Definitely something that this wedding DJ could work with, and even throw a few in of my own creative twists!
Of course, Jas & Jack also wanted to have that variety so that everyone would have a great time. On the night, we doffed the proverbial cap to different and genres and decades, resulting in a range of dancers across the generations. It really is possible to have a wedding disco that both you and your nan can enjoy.
To witness all the pandemonium at The Kingscote Barn was photographer extraordinaire, Mat James. Mat knows that no wedding is complete without a damn good party to finish it off, and I’m sure that you will agree that he captured the joy of Jas, Jack & co. splendidly.
