Gill & Jordan’s Wedding DJ at Moxhull Hall

Oh, how I do love performing at Moxhull Hall. The marquee where we rig to party is one of the highest quality and most thoughtfully laid out marquees that I have ever performed in, with the white walls acting as a blank canvas for my computer-controlled lighting. Every time that I am there as a Wedding DJ, it’s always a great night so when Gill & Jordan dropped me an email earlier in the year and asked whether I was available to DJ their mid-week wedding, I jumped at the chance!

With a handy little divider in the marquee separating the wedding breakfast area and the dancefloor area, I rocked up a smidge early so I can have a leisurely setup while guests tucked into the barbecue buffet (it also gives me a chance to eavesdrop on the speeches!) and when Gill, Jordan and Co. were done, the divider was lifted and the grand reveal of the dancefloor area was made. The night started with Gill grabbing her guitar and performing a beautiful rendition of Can't Help Falling in Love – a hard act to follow, but I think it’s safe to say that I pulled it off.

From there, we did the cutting of the cake followed by the first dance and from that point onwards, it was a rocking dancefloor! Gill & Jordan were after a varying mix of styles and genres and that is exactly what they got – from Motown, to 80s, to 90s Pop, to Indie and so much more, Gill and Jordan, along with all of their guests, danced the night away.
